Slimming down my A5 Balmoral Filofax!

Just a quick post to show off my newly skinny A5 Balmoral Filofax!  This is the filofax I use every day and over the past couple of years it’s got to be rather chunky.  I’m about to move to a new job, so I thought it was about time to have a clearout!  I’ve pulled out all my project related notes and previous diary pages, plus some of the business card holders and to-do list paper, as I rarely use it.

Now I can even close it on the first popper (wonder how long that will last?!)…here it is, ready for a fresh start:

A5 Balmoral Filofax and Mont Blanc Pen

I’m also pleased to say that my Filofax posts now have their very own blog category!  Read all my Filofax blog posts here.

I was so lucky, getting a new Balmoral A5 on ebay Germany!
After I’ve seen yours before I was sooooooo exited, when it arrived…and it has a full width sort of “wallet pocket”,which I haven`t seen on yours…?Also it has huge rings!
    Does you Balmoral has this,too…?
Next week on Friday I`ll show my Balmoral in a blog post,on Chrissie´s universe ;o))

  3. Hey Cathryn!
Thanks for your answer and the link!Hmmmm…I can`t see the “wallet-pocket”on the photos OO it is … big…huge…you can put A4 paper inside…
I made a youtube video “Filofax Balmoral”,maybe you have some minutes,to check it out :o ))
I would also like to know in what time/years they sold this binder?
    Greetings from Hamburg!

  4. Hi Chrissie,
I just watched your video and left a comment – our Balmorals are slightly different! Mine doesn’t have the wallet pocket or the bigger rings. Yours looks newer than mine, although that could be because I’ve used mine every day for nearly ten years!! I think I would have bought mine in 2003 if that helps at all. Enjoy it!

    Cat :)

  5. Dear Cathryn! Thanks for your replies!
    Now I found a pocket Balmoral in red…in unused condition :o ))
Posted about the A5 in my blog yesterday – the red one will follow!
