Trollbeads: Springtime Pastel Combo

The sun made a short appearance this weekend here in the UK, so I thought it was time for a pretty pastel Trollbeads combo!

I was given ‘Grandma’s Favourite’ for Christmas and this was the perfect time to use it!  You’ll have seen the combination of silvers and golds before, but I love how the gold looks against the purples and pinks.  I definitely need more in these colours, as I’ve had to sneak in a few artisans to fill it up!

I’ve also used a big pendant bead that I picked up from a craft fair to try and weight it down and stop if from spinning around, but it keeps catching on my clothes. Trollbeads, if you’re reading this, please make something similar that won’t catch!!

Do you change your Trollbeads over when the season changes too?  I’d love to see your springtime combos!

Trollbeads Combo: Spring Time Fairytale

We’ve had such lovely weather lately that I thought it was time for a new Spring Trollbeads combo!   I wanted to go for a fairytale theme, with pastel OOAKs and fantasy silvers, which remind me of spring time in the garden.

I’ve used really chunky silvers, such as the Fantasy Elf and Spirit of Freedom, which stand out boldly against the soft colours of the glass – I think it works, what do you think?

Spring Trollbeads - Purples Pink Fairy

(Working clockwise from the clasp, the 1st, 3rd, 8th and 10th glass beads are all OOAKs)

Trollbeads Spring Bracelet – Amber & Turquoise

Spring is here at long last!!  With the sun shining, I couldn’t resist creating a new Trollbeads bracelet to brighten up my transitional wardrobe from winter to spring:

Spring Trollbeads - Amber and Turquoise

You’ll have seen this combination of gold and silvers on the blog before, which all have special meanings to me and are among my most precious beads.  To keep it fresh, I often switch out the glass and amber Trollbeads and usually stick to one or two colours.  I really did try to use more than two colours in this one (honest), but I just loved how the turquoise beads looked with the ooak ambers!

This bracelet has three artisan beads – the turquoise scales and the two turquoise stones, which were all gifted to me at Christmas.  The ambers are all One-Of-A-Kind Trollbeads, as is the white with turquoise daisies, which was in my goody bag at the first UK Trollbeads Convention last year.

I’m enjoying this look as the colours remind me of being at the beach!  Are you making a new bracelet to reflect the change in seasons?
